Is there a Writer keyboard shortcut to move the insertion point out of a new comment?

Hi. In LibreOffice Writer, I am a big user of the comment feature, which is accessible via Ctrl+Alt+C.

However, when I finish typing, I now need to move the insertion point (cursor position) to the document itself, out of the comment box. The only way to do this seems to be by using the pointing device. Is there a keyboard-only way to do it? If not, is there a way to add such a shortcut myself? If not (or even if so) can I submit an an enhancement request to the development team to add such a shortcut?

Thank you.

You can press Esc which will take you back to the insertion point.

In general, creating keyboard shortcuts is not too difficult; Help can be useful, Keyboard

Wow, why didn’t I think of trying that? I guess because in almost all software, Esc means “Cancel”. Thanks, I’ll use that.

Or Esc means “stop what you’re doing and go back to what you were doing previously”
