For organization’s sake, is there an easy way to alphabetize the file names of existing saved Libre Office Documents? I love this software.
To avoid waisting time: Please explain more clearly what’s your concept of “alphabetizing”, where the existing files are saved, and in what way they are recognized as “LibreOffice Documents”.
LibreOffice itself doesn’t maintain a “tree of LibreOffice Documents” in parallel to the OperatingSystem’s file system (or software managing a wider network) beyond the limited history (recent files list), and it has no means to know what happened to such files by processes outside of LibO. If you delete ort rename a “LibreOffice Document” by OS means, LibO simply won’t find it even if it was an element of the “recent files”.
The documents are under recent documents. I have never had difficulty locating a document here. Just wanted to organize them a bit as I am transferring data to a new computer. Thank you for responding.
Use the file explorer of your OS. There you can easily sort your documents.
Thank you.
