I see that you can have the comments in the margin if you print but it looks like I can only get them added as annotations if I export to PDF. I’ve tried with the latest 7.3 version and I’ve also tried with the 6.4 version.
I’ve tried doing this as a proof of concept using the GUI but ideally I’ll be converting it via the CLI.
Thanks for the blog link. I looked it over and while there’s some good content in there about exporting via CLI to PDF I didn’t see anything about how to get the comments in the margins. I’ve added the the comments through annotations in the GUI but for what I’m looking for having them in the margins would be more ideal.
Ah, yes, you are right. I should have checked. Indeed, it seems that your only option would be printing to a virtual PDF printer.
