Issue with Libre Base

I am having a problem find my database in Libre Base. I’m working on a separate machine with SCADA software, which creates it’s own DB when installed called WinCC. I can browse the machine and find the database, but can’t find the database in Libre with an user created ODBC and I’m hoping someone can give me some things to try. Here is a short summary of my issue:

Problem:
When creating a Libre ODBC Database to the user created data source server DESKTOP-SFD84LN/WinCC, the WinCC database doesn’t appear within Libre Folders: dbo, Information_schema, or sys.

What I’ve Done:

Created windows install media for windows 10
Installed Windows 10 pro OS
Installed Siemens Runtime Pro, V18
Installed .net 3.5
Installed Libre office 7.5.5 Windows x64-x84
Installed Java windows x64
Created user ODBC data source WinCC, to DESKTOP-SFD84LN/WinCC
Created a database with database wizard in Libre Base, selecting Connect to an existing DB type ODBC and selecting the WinCC Database

A short note: I’ve got another machine set up and it is working there, and as far as I know the machines are set up the same. We have no issue opening Libre and finding the WinCC DB.

I’ve reinstalled libre and java, re-created the OBDB link, and I’m running out of things I know to try.

menu:File>New>Database
[X] Connect to existing db of type ODBC
Specify the ODBC name.
[X] Register the database.
Save the database.

We’ve done that, and the Database seems to link to the ODBC we’ve created, but for some reason we cant find the WinCC server.

Reset the profile (after backup). A new install of LibreOffice will NOT destroy/refresh the old profile, because this is the way how your settings are kept.

Obviously you have to renew the registration of the ODBC-datasource in LibreOffice. The availability of a User-ODBC DUN you can check also in Windows. It should not be affected by modifications of LibreOffice.

The User-DUN is created by the same User who executes LibreOffice?

Yes, it’s created by the same user with libre.

I am going to try to find a 3rd party program to test the OBDC connection to verify that it’s working.

Editing ODBC configuration usually has a button to test the connection.
