Testing iterative computation I have a spreadsheet with one cell B2 = B2+1
In Tools->Options->Calc->Calculate iterations is checked with Steps = 1 and Minimum Change = 1000.
However, when I do Ctrl-Shift-F9 the cell value increases by 2 rather than the expected 1.
Why is it doing this?

I also experienced this behaviour recently, Do you think the first step is counted as an ‘Iteration’? There was a thread in another (?) forum where a contributor (?) suggested to use =B2+1/2 in B2 to achieve the desired result.

@pierre-yves Thanks. Why does Step=1 lead to 2 calculations? Btw, I can’t see an option Tools->Cell content; can see it in Data->Calculate. Any idea whi Step=100 leads to only 3 calculations?
@PerceptualRobots - Thank you for reporting the old menu (problem of old faq, difficult to follow the update of all documentations). I had not found at the time documentation on iteration calculation, it is only the result of my experience…
