Keep a certain trade name from getting auto-capitalized

I keep track of my finances with a calc spreadsheet, and occasionally buy from eBay. How do I make calc not correct “eBay” to “Ebay” in the comment associated with an entry for a purchase from them? Writer (usually) does not have this problem. Thanks.

I assume this happens after a full stop, as in Purchases. eBay.

  • Try clicking Tools > AutoCorrect Options > Options and untick Capitalise first letter of every sentence.

  • Or press Ctrl+Z immediately after it capitalises.

  • Or add eBay to Tools > AutoCorrect Options > Exceptions > Words WithTWO INitial CApitals or sMALL iNITIAL
