Hi I have the latest version of LO and at startup I ge a message saying the JRE is defective. The Java JRE is an up date to the JRE 7. This is in Win 7 32 bit. I cannot run LO at all in the “normal” version, but the Portable Apps version works OK. Any one got a cure for the problem?
What if you try to completely remove Java?
Have you selected Java in Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice/Advanced?
I am running Windows 7 32 bit using LibreOffice 4.1 and it won’t recognize Java 7.0.250.17 on my system.
Base will load but I cant do anything with it, every time I try to load a table/query/form/report I get “The LibreOffice configuration has been changed. Under Tools - Options - LibreOffice - Advanced, select the Java runtime environment you want to have used by LibreOffice.” I have tried that repeatedly and it won’t take. It brings up the JRE but it won’t recognize it.
Hi wolfe69,
i’ve got a similar problem with LO 4.2.0.4. After I have installed Version 7 Update 51, LO says me, that my JRE is corrupt and i should to choose my JRE, which i’ve done. But the error does not disappear.
It is a 64Bit Windows 7 system.
What i doing wrong?
In windows OS LIbreOffice is always 32 bits, in consequence only a 32 bits Java can be used with LibreOffice in windows OS.
