I would like to configure my LIBREOFFICE so that at the startup it scrolls down to the last position (page) visited from the previous session.
The last seen position is maintained in the document for each user. It is not stored for unidentified users.
- Select menu item
Tools
-Options
. - In the left pane, expand the
LibreOffice
branch and selectUser data
- Enter something for name/initials
Now, when you edit a document, the current position is saved with the identity you specified in the above procedure. When you open a document, the app will search for position info matching your identity. In other words: as long as you don’t change the user info, you will be sent back to the same position when you reopen the file.
Works fine. It would be better though that it remembers the last position without an edit, but that’s not so important.
