How does one get the sidebar on the left to see all the pages of a document?

Can you post if you are working with Writer, Calc, Impress or Draw?
Writer has no sidebar on the left that shows all pages. In the sidebar (Ctrl + F5) on the right there is the Navigator, but this is object-related.
