HI,
Recently I upgraded to libeoffice 5.2.0.4 Build ID: 1:5.2.0~rc4-0ubuntu1~trusty2.
By hand I activated JAVA1.7.0.111 in Options.
The special characters do not always work when chosen by keyboard combi´s like shift-ë…oh, there it is already ;-).
In this message, not i an Writer document.
In Calc and Draw and Impress no problem.
So in a Writer document the functon suddenly quits.
I start all over again and sometimes it works, most of the times not unless sometimes I open a new document and than on the other one it works…or not…
I repeat that several times of just do the trich by Insert/Special Character but off course that´s a PITA.
Anybody familiar with this problem?
I keep trying with different solutions and keep you posted if a bright new insight comes up.
But I appreciate any help.
