I’m not highly tech-savvy, so please correct any mistakes below – I don’t know what the Libre ‘tags’ mean just above so just chose the first one) –
Last night I downloaded Libre 7.17 onto my PC desktop (desktop PC, Windows OS X, 32 bits, Brave browser), selecting 32 bits correctly. This immediately prevented me from using most websites, although I could view them. But buttons and hyperlinks on websites either did not work, or were very slow, or showed only the top quarter of results on that page.
I then deleted all Libre installations/downloads/everything from my computer.
I also tried all the above on Chrome browser, did not work, same things happened.
Now this morning, I have no internet access at all. When I click my Brave icon on task bar, I only get an almost blank page with a sentence at the top saying to enable java script. Using my wife’s laptop, I found instructions to enable java script and followed them on my desktop, but it didn’t have any effect at all.
The only other thing I’m doing is replacing my old Mac keyboard with a PC keyboard, if that would make any difference (the Mac keyboard was incompatible with my PC and was preventing me from doing things, like taking screen shots). This replacement is not in place yet, waiting for a cable being sent to me by Amazon.
My wife needs her laptop most of the day, and our computer professional (only one in small town) is on vacation for a week.
So downloading Libre has removed all internet access for me. Can anyone please help me?
