Libre Calc Sheet [the dash lengthen]

When entering items in columns as shown. Upright - S01 and if any changes made, and you click out of the cell this happens Upright – S02 the dash lengthen, so you have to go back and delete it and re-enter in the dash again. If you have a long list, then it takes a bit of time. Can the mods please have a look at this please, it must be a bug of sorts.

One may think it is a bug, other consider the same as feature to make the world more beautiful.

Can typographic quotes be switched off for ask.libreoffice.org?

Well, your “better” is apparently opposite to mine here. I find the postings to look better due to the feature in question. This site’s engine does provide a tool to present chunks of code as they should be. Some lazy or […] users do not use proper tools, but I don’t think this should be a reason to disable certain features. P. S. Irrespective of the feature, I use proper quotation marks and apostrophes here (slightly edited by @LeroyG)
