I have created a report and I have to do some percentages. like i will need =D2/C2 ( in column F percentage) AND =E2/D2 (in Column G percentage ) , I will have this for about 6 to 8 columns Then I need a total for all columns C, D , E , F and G. F and G are Percentage Totals.
I save the form as a ods. All works fine as long as I am in the form creating it. Once I have saved it and re-open to adjust the numbers in C< D or E. The formulas created for F and G don’t work.
What storage format (file type) do you use when you save?
@keme: cited from OP: ‘I save the form as a ods.’
@ConnieMH: in which way do ‘the formulas not work’?
there are - at least - two known issues:
- ‘autocalculate’ being ‘off’ / not working in some situations, often hard-recalc (ctrl-shift-F9) is a crutch to get results and prove the fault,
- re-ordering / adapting / updating of referencers / references on sorting of data, check if the formulas in F and G stick with the rows they are in,
and best of all … provide us a sample …
Thank you, I have since found it was operator error…lol Where I am used to Excel and how it works there very easy. I have found how to make it work and now my forms work like they should and I can update the info as needed daily for my weekly and monthly reports. Thank you
