downloaded latest installer, but every time I run it. It stops saying another programe is installing. Nothing else is!
Can’t update!
I bet that any other MSI would tell you the same. It seems that something is updating in the background, or maybe a background update got stuck. Reboot.
If you are on Windows then press Restart (not shut down as that only hibernates if Fast Start is on, which is what Windows defaults to)
