While moving to a new computer (Lenovo P50) with Win10 64 the install and use of LO comes up with “The lock file could not be created for exclusive access by LibreOffice, due to missing permission to create a lock file on that file location or lack of free disk space.”
Configuration is to have programs on C: drive and documents on E:. As far as I am aware moving the documents folder worked in Windows. An sfc /scannow corrected a few issues internally. There is a 5 MB log file of the results which I am unable to decipher.
Defender had no Ransomware protection enabled. Even with this enabled and soffice.exe configured as allowed app there is no change. So I switched Ransomware off again.
Both drives have plenty of space available.
Even re-installing LO made no difference.
I have suspicions that some permissions do not execute as wanted. Account used in Win has administrative rights provided through Group Management.
However none of the suggestions in the various threads here and in other places gave me an idea how to resolve this issue.
Has anyone an idea what I can check or try next?
