I noticed that in one of my Libre Office documents, when I go to File → Properties → Description, there is a reference from Zotero which was used to automatically fill in all the fields. That is, “Title”, “Subject” and “Keywords” are all taken from a particular Zotero reference. I can, of course, change these fields to contain the proper information, but I would like to understand why this happened. Is it something I accidentally specified in a setting in Libre Office? Or perhaps something random on the Zotero side when I added my reference? It is perplexing, as the author of that reference also automatically appears in the “General” tab under “Created” giving the date and time when the article was written. I would prefer these fields to be linked to the actual Libre Office file rather than this reference. But, I do not understand how this problem occurred in the first place.
