Libre office is not printing my letterhead odt

my printer, xeron-VersaLink-b405 is recognized. it is set for portrait, letter size. It will not allow me to pick the paper tray! it is grayed out. I need that too. The ODT letter looks great, but when i print it get
wl;216,3188,2280,3068 and drop down a line but it picks up like the next entry after 3068 on the above line 203?KNBo{NBo{NBo and so on till the edge of the page…Thank you…b3 i am really on the crayola level, so please keep it simple…

When I go to the Xerox support site for this printer I see there is a notice about about an important firmware upgrade.

I also see that there are only Windows drivers provided. Is your computer running Windows (what version?) or another operating system? What printer driver are you using, Xerox or generic Windows driver?

/home/bearzillla/Downloads/XeroxSmartStart_1.9.12.0.e Thank you Thank you Thank you…as you can see i took your advice and downloaded the linux driver. I am on victoria by the way. it downloaded to bearziLLLa, one to many L’s. This was supposedly corrected when we set this up, but it has come back to haunt me. My friend who helped just left this morning for a vacation in FL in a free condo from a friend.
I am the gift that keeps on giving. How do i get rid of the extra L in bearzilla so the download can be recognized? thank you thank you thank you…b3

Sorry I can’t help with Linux printing as my Linux computer died and I haven’t had time to resurrect it.

The printer driver won’t do anything sitting in Downloads, but is it the correct driver? Ubuntu is based on Debian so I would have thought that it might have been XeroxOfficev5Pkg-Linuxx86_64-5.20.661.4684.deb

Try these instructions, How to print to Xerox printers from Linux | Electrical and Computer Engineering

Earnest Al, to eliminate one too many L’s in bearzilla, i tried this: ask ubuntu How do I change my username? and it was no where near as clear as your instructions were. Could help me with my name so my xerox linux download will work? Thank you…b3
