downloaded LO 5.3.7. for a mac osx 10.10.5 after installing LO verifies and wont finish this, 20 minutes and more.
is it missing something? fonts? any advice?

It is reported to finish successfully after long wait (and many confirm). Otoh, someone reported that installing JDK helps.
