I am using LibreOffice Writer 7.3.4.2 and Writer is adding parallel lines outside the left margins of my document. How can I remove these lines? Why is this happening? See attachment.

You enabled Edit > Track changes, Record and Show. If you are the only person editing your document, you don’t need that, just turn them all off, and accept the changes (Accept all).

I have not enabled Track changes, Record and Show. I am the only person editing the document. Any other suggestions?
Was the text copied from another source and pasted into the document?
If not, please reduce your document to 1-2 pages so that the problem is still visible.
