I am using Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and LIbreOffice 5.1.2.2.
When I highlight text, no highlighting shows up.
When I click on a drop down menu, such as the font size menu, it is blank. The menu is still functional, however.
The really weird thing is that the problem is intermittent. It will fix itself on occasion without any actions on my part other than using Libre Writer
