Libre Writer: How to set default folder for saving Writer document

Hi,
LibreOffice Writer

Using Windows 10 on PC with C:\ drive reserved for operating system, and D:\ drive for data.

I have always used D:\ Documents\xxxx for Writer documents, and until now LibreOffice knew that was my default for saving Writer docs…

Until I upgraded to LO 7.2. Now when I try to save a Writer document, the Save dialog shows C:\ as the only choice. The only way to save my doc is to manually type in the desired save destination.
What a pain! I have tried to find a way to set D:\Documents as the default, but cannot find any way to do this. Please help.
How can set the default Save destination to where I needed it instead of the one LibreOffice shows?
Thank you.

Go to Tools>Options>Paths and click on my Documents and edit button to set the default save Path. If this solution works click on the uptick.
