Libreoffice 3.6.2 rc2 - ubuntu 12.10 - menu bar stops working

Unity menu bar is not working but functions still trigger from icons.

Menu bar is still expanding but menu bar only functions (e.g. Tools/Options) will not load.

Reinstalled whole package. Bug still present.

Addition to post:

Following a suggestion in a previous post I checked that this was not a monitor issue.

I have an LG Flatron W2335V running off an HDMI port at a hi-res.

I did not have the screens mirrored.

Disconnecting that a reverting back to my laptop screen (Lenovo Thinkpad LED running at 1366x768 - 16:9) fixed the above issues.

I omitted in last post that other packages (Firefox, Shotwell etc) were not affected.

So it appears that the issue is a Libreoffice issue with Ubuntu’s Unity interface on non-standard screens.

As you will gather I am not able to go beyond this but hope that this helps the community as Libreoffice and Ubuntu rock!

Can you install LibreOffice 4.0.x from PPA and see if the problem is solved. If I remember correctly there was menu integration problem in 3.6.x version.

To install LibreOffice 4.0 do the following:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/libreoffice-4-0

sudo apt-get update

I have the same problem with Ubuntu 12.10 (64 bit).
Monitor is Benq FP73G.
