cd to untarred directory
./install . /opt/libreoffice4.1
The files end up as /opt/libreoffice4.1/opt/libreoffice4.1/opt/libreoffice4.1
Also is there a clean uninstaller ?
Are you wanting to perform a User Mode installation? Just wondering about your use of ./install rather than installing the RPMs directly. I use the package manager to perform uninstalls, but my use case is for DEB systems.
