LibreOffice 4.1.2 and 4.1.3.2 not starting

Hi,

I am on Win 7, i5 laptop.

I used to have OOo on this computer, no problem. I installed LibO successfully (Windows main installer), and if I click the startup icon, it doesn’t start. The mouse cursor is “thinking” for a few seconds, and then nothing. No “soffice” in the running processes either. Try to start it by opening a DRAW document, same happens.

Restart computer, reinstalled, same problem :/.

Try compatibility mode, same problem.

I am quite stuck, I don’t even have an eror message or so I could work with.

You have to uninstall OOo first. Then install LO otherwise there are some conflicts which prevent either one from starting.

I would uninstall ALL first, run a Registry cleaner (CCleaner), restart and then install LO.

Also I would turn off your wifi/network and disable your virus software for the time that you are running installation. Lastly, just to remind it, you must have ADMIN access to the machine.
