I have tried twice to download and install on my laptop with windows 8.1 and get message that it is not compatible with my computer. Also error: 1301
I can’t help you, but according to the list of Microsoft Windows Installer Error Messages error 1301 is:
Cannot create the file '[2]'. A directory with this name already exists.
Did you have a prior installation of LO on this computer? Was it removed cleanly?
