Hi:
I have LibreOffice 4.4 and 5.0 running on a laptop. The OS is Elementary OS Freya(Ubuntu 14.04). This is my problem. I can open any LibreOffice file located in my home network with LibreOffice 4.4 by just double clicking on it. Doing the same with LibreOffice 5.0 will not open the file. Then, I ran LibreOffice in command mode, and both versions open the file, though there are some warning messages. Here are the results:
