Iuse libreoffice 5.4.2.2 and today all my files show “do not exist” when I go into retrieve them. Has there been an update that I have failed to apply?
Sounds like a network or operating system file issue, potentially a disk fault. Are the files on another network location? Windows 10 is quite buggy with Wifi. If you’re using Win10 try finding the files with Explorer first, then opening them in LO. Not much info to go on.

Weren’t your files open from e.g. mail attachments without saving to some safe location like Documents?
Did you move or rename a folder being a node of the path to your LibO files in your file manager?
