Libreoffice 5.4 can't open files

Hi, I have Ubuntu 17.10 and I installed 5.4, I only can open files if I open Libre office before anything else. Once its open I can work, but If I close it and try to open any file latter it seems like it will be opened but doesnt open any file or do anything.

Also with Calc, I have to open the suite before anything else in my desktop. If idont, then i have to reboot the Pc to open again the files.

I guess that you LO installation is not came with your distribution and you installed it manually? From which source, whit what method (downloading from LO’s site or from some third party repo)? I bet this is not problem with LO but possibly with settings or configuration of operating system.
