LibreOffice 6.2.8.1 on MacOS 10.15.2 doesn't start

MacOS 10.15.2 hangs and says “Apple cannot check it for malicious software.” Re-started twice already, no joy

Did everything like I did before, dragged the disk image over to “Applications” and had it replace the prior version. But now I cannot open LibreOffice.

Also says that “This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.”

I would add a screenshot but I don’t see a way to upload a file here.

{Edit - Opaque] Shortened title and put part of the title to details

Hello,

no screenshot required. This question has been asked several times here and a search for “Catalina” would have resulted in plenty of information on that question:

Try

In short: In Finder go to Applications and use Right click - Open on LibreOffice.app

PS: To upload a screenshot, click on the image icon on the toolbar, when in edit mode.

Hope that helps.
