Windows 10 Home OS. Downloaded 7.1.1 help app & chose writer html as default. When help is selected in any document, I get a one html page with everything, including menu bars, blank. Have tried deletion and downloaded with same result every time.
If you click on Start menu > Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Choose default applications by file type and find .htm & .html, are both of them set to open in your browser?
If one of those file types is set to open in Writer then click on it and select your browser from the list that opens.
