I have 7.2 installed but it won’t open
Well, it took me hours to read that informative wall of text!
C’mon @stewmeister, if you really expect help, provide some useful info: what LO version (exactly)? Which OS and version? What exactly happens when you try to start LO?
And is this really about Writer and Base, or should the question be re-tagged common?

Sorry, I realised later that I didn’t provide the info required. I also fixed the problem after thinking about it. I reinstalled the program ( on Windows 10 ) and it now runs fine. Sorry for the trouble
