Previous version allowed me to open LibreOffice maximized. Not to be confused with full screen. Using the same version of Windows 10 fully updated without this problem with previous versions.

One might wonder why anyone with important work to do would use an Alpha version.
Yes, the bug is in 7.4.0.1 and 7.4.0.2, but I tested it in 7.5.0.0.alpha0+ and it is OK.

This is a workaround. Kubuntu 22.04.1 LO 7.4 from fresh ppa.
Right click on the LO icon in the taskbar then more actions then resize. After that the window will not minimize till you close LO.
