libreoffice and MacOS Sierra 2017 compatible?

I am using LibreOffice 5.2.5.1 on macOS 10.12.3 (Sierra). I can not speak about the 5.3 release as I have not tried it.
You should not have any problems with the 5.2.5.1 release. Overall, I have great success using LibreOffice on a MacBook Pro. I mainly use Writer.
I would give it an A+.
