i have libreoffice 5 and 6 on Zorin os 12, when i open a pdf with draw, the pdf content is all incorrect characters. I tried the same pdf in ubuntu and draw and it was fine. is there a missing package i needed for Zorin OS and Libreoffice?
May be the PDF you try to open contains a font which is neither embedded within the PDF nor available in your Zorin OS. Try to figure out (e.g. using program evince) the font used in the PDF and install in Zorin OS, if it is missing. Another reason may be that the PDF is using a Type 1 font, which is no longer supported in LibreOffice (probably the case, if other PDF readers show your pdf correctly on Zorin OS),
the properties says type 1 and type 3.
i use the document viewer and it display the correct font. Just not draw.
