Microsoft Access 2010 (and superior) allows to deal with both local tables and remote tables (accessed through ODBC connection).
Does LibreOffice Base provides features of the same kind?
If you need to connect to local and remote db from within the same odb file (kind of at the same time), then I don’t think this is possible. But otherwise yes, you can have access to local or remote databases with LibO Base.
