LibrOffice version: 24.2.4.2
In Calc with new spreadsheet it shows the Row number not normal, the columns C,J,R and others with rectangles instead of the letter in Sheet numbers there is 5 rectangles and sheet number in Formula at bottom there are only rectangles.
There is something very wrong with Calc.
How to correct this

The UI render is not Skia/Vulcan.
Don't know was is the âdefaultâ.

and from the guidelines previously mentioned : attach screenshot(s) of your problem.
Just a thought: Have you considered going to Tools>Options>Language Settings>Languages then the User Interface language to switch to another language that wonât confuse you too much, perhaps Spanish? Just to see if the problem persists.
