LibreOffice crashes with Malwarebytes and Google Drive (with solution, somewhat)

For the past week or so I have not been able to use Libreoffice as it would crash shortly after starting.
finally I got a notification that popped up about the time of this crash from Malwarebytes anti-virus software. The message was indicating a “payload” was blocked by …/Google drive/ File Stream 55.03…

I uninstalled Google Drive and the LibreOffice is working fine. Strange that this just started but given that Google updates their software nearly daily behind the scenes it’s not surprising.
Since I’m a new user I can’t post the malwarebyte complete messasge due to a limit of “2 links”. Whatevs

Updated: minutes later. I reinstalled Google Drive and the crashes returned. The two won’t play nice with each other any longer.

I hope this helps someone else.
