LibreOffice crashes

After hearing MS would force it anyway, I installed 21H2 on Win 10. It removed all my apps, I had to install Libre from scratch. I had an copy of 7.2 on my backup drive and installed it. It crashed after about 20 seconds, every time I tried. I then updated to 7.3. Same problem occurs. Then I completely uninstalled everything, including reg. entries, restarted, then re-installed 7.3. Same problem. Is this a problem with Win 10 21H2? Any recommendations?

Like most people, I had no problem updating to that, except for some defaults apps that were no longer defined. Same for upgrade to Windows 11 but defaults apps remained the same. In both cases, no apps were removed.

It sounds like something broke during the update and you have a temporary Windows user profile. Maybe this link to answers.microsoft can help https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-10-update-created-a-temporary-profile-for/cea3ed6e-64d5-45c5-ae09-c2f7005c09be

Before a major update, make sure you have all other updates done and that you have Restarted Windows (not power off/shutdown as some computers have that set to write current state to drive).

When I installed 21H2, unbeknown to me it stripped off my Pro key and installed a new Home version, would not let me select “keep apps and personal files” because “it was installing a different version” (this was a CLUE). Before I commence something like this I always create a system image just beforehand, and have gone back to previous. Libre 7.3 works just fine now. Thanks for your help.
