Hi, I was using LO fine on Windows 7. I tried running it on an Intel NUC with Windows 10 and I kept getting an error message warning me whether I wanted to open as another user or something was using LO (I can’t pull this error message up now). If I clicked “yes” it caused the computer to crash and restart. I uninstalled LO and reinstalled. I have now even lost the option to uninstall LO as it doesn’t appear either as a right click or in uninstall. I’m concerned that even if I do manage to uninstall LO won’t run.
The same thing happened to me. Got a new Intel i7 Skull Canyon NUC (16gb ram) and set it up with win10 and the most recent stable LO 5. It immediately crashed after the above mentioned warning with a black screen and rebooting, not even a blue screen. I reinstalled LO a couple of times and even reinstalled Win10 once. Same thing happened again. Here is the really weird thing: I installed Linux Mint 18 and ran LO on that… and the SAME error and computer crash happened. Very disturbing error…
