Libreoffice does not recognize Identity-H fonts

Hi everyone, I need to edit a PDF file where many fonts are used, in particular:

  • TimesNewRomanPS-boldMT, tye “True
    Type (CID)”, Identity- H encoding
  • TimesNewRomanPS-boldMT-Identity-H, type “True Type (CID)”, Identity-H encoding

Opening PDF file with Libreoffice Draw cause a problem: text written with those to fonts is incorred and substituted with casual characters. Libreoffice sees that text as “Times New Roman”.

Trying editing that file with another PDF.editing software like Xchange Editor, that text is correctly shown and marked as “TimesNewRomanPS-boldMT” font.

Does someone know why? Can’t Libreoffice recognize the Identity-H encoding?

I don’t know really well how PostScript fonts work.

Operating System: Win10

I can’t upload the PDF file, sorry.
