LibreOffice Draw keeps freezing and stuttering...

It can be hard or impossible to work with.

I currently allow 200 mb of graphics cache, disable antialiasing, and try to avoid excess complexity, to try to work with LibreOffice, but it is still hard to work with the freezing and stuttering, selecting the wrong object due to latency, moving objects to the wrong place due to latency, etc.

Is there any way to get rid of the latency?

Comparable problem here, both with Draw ánd Writer; for years now, on Ubuntu 12.04, Kubuntu 14.04 and now on Kubuntu 15.10 Libre Office Writer has been doing the same thing: suddenly it freezes, most of the time when trying to change something in layout, but also when typing too fast. I have already allocated more memory to the app.
