I use Libreoffice 7.1.4.2 on OpenSuse Leap 15.3.
During startup the Splash screen freezes for about 2 minutes.
This is caused by a syntax error in the file kioslaverc in the folder ~/.config
Content (I do not use a proxy):
ProxyUrlDisplayFlags=0
[Proxy Settings]
Proxy Config Script=
ProxyType=3
ReversedException=false
socksProxy=
Due to the 3 in ProxyType Libreoffice tries to find a proxy and after about 2 minutes times out.
Change the setting to :
ProxyType=0
And the problem is solved.
This might also work on other Linux flavours.
