LibreOffice Fresh 4.4.2.2 installed deleted my DejaVu fonts

Immediately after the installer finished, I saw corruption and changes on the desktop and browser, which both use DejaVu Sans on my Win7 system. Upon searching the fonts, the DejaVu fonts where all gone, so I just downloaded them again and it fixed the issue, but this is terrible.

Is there any known conflict between the fonts and LibreOffice? I had it installed already but I don’t ever remember this kind of issue.

I’m seeing this also after updating to 4.3.7.2, and also happened on the last update to 4.3.6. The DejaVu Sans font is removed completely from the Fonts library (via Control Panel) in Windows 8.1. No errors shown just noticed it was missing since I use this font for some applications.
