Every time I need to upgrade libreoffice on terminal server I fails, I notice that it removes everything then I have to reset to reinstall again… This is every time I want to upgrade.
I also tried a commercial office suite Softmaker on the other hand and this one gets updated and it shows a message of the changes without noticing anything wrong.
It would be great to have automatic updates enabled and continue working without resetting the whole system and affecting users for a period of time.
On features LibreOffice has the best vs commercial Softmaker, the only thing that users asked is a closer look to MS Office and in this area Softmaker looks almost identical to MS Office on the ribbon theme.
