While installing, libreOffice 4.0.4.2, I said that LibreOffice should not be my default program for word, excel, etc. But still libreOffice keeps resetting my settings. Each time I start Microsoft word, it tells me that Word is not the default program for opening docx files.
I want to retain Microsoft office as my primary editor for office documents. I want to use LibreOffice only for certain tasks. I don’t want LibreOffice to reset any “default program for office extensions”, without my consent.
It might be that something went wrong during the installation. Please have a look at LibO Tools / Options / Microsoft you should see:
but you must UNCHECK all.
