LibreOffice keeps getting deleted

Hello,
I am currently using Windows 11 Home ver 24H2. Twice now when I went to open LibreOffice the program was no longer on my computer. it just vanished! I searched for it and it could not be found however the files were still in my documents folder.
So I downloaded the latest version, 25.2.1 Win x86-64. When I tried to open my files it said they were all corrupted and could not be fixed. I deleted that version and downloaded what appears to be an older version 24.8.5 Win x86-64 and then I was able to open my existing files, Thank goodness!
Today when I went to open LibreOffice the program was again gone from my computer and could not be found! I downloaded the 24.8.5 version again and all seems well…for the moment.
Can anyone tell me why the program keeps getting deleted from my computer? I am using Norton 360 but I don’t know why this would have any effect on this.
I have been using LibreOffice for 10 or more years and have never had this or any other problem. Also I have had this computer for over 2 years so nothing much has changed with it other than the automatic Windows updates, my last update was 3/12/25 so I don’t see that being the problem either.
Thank you for any help anyone can offer of this problem!

Probably best to ask on Norton site. You need to add each version of LibreOffice (soffice.bin) as an exception I suppose. I don’t know how you would do it while Norton is deleting the program at the same time

I honestly don’t think Norton is deleting the entire program automatically, do you really think they singled out this program to delete? Why would it just be this program all of a sudden? I have had both Norton and LibreOffice for years and have not had any problems until recently. I will look on the Norton site to see if there is somewhere I can add an exception and also post on their forum.
Thank you!

Another possibility is that Windows has a problem so it resets to the previous time it worked. Doesn’t explain why 25.2 does not work though
