Hello Team,

We have upgraded the LibreOffice from 6.2.8.0 version to 24.2.0.3. As per our analysis, the document generation response times with the same template has increased from 5 secs in 6.2.8.0 to >60 secs in 24.2.0.3 version.
Earlier we were informed that 24.2.0.3 is not a stable version.

Hello Everyone - We are using Docmosis-java version 4.7.5 in our production system along with LibreOffice 24.2.0.3 version. Earlier, we were using the 6.2.8.2 version and we upgraded to 24.2.0.3 in September in our Production systems. The reason for upgrade was a customer-reported defect w.r.t. content block variables not coming up in the generation document for version 6.2.8.2, which was working fine in 24.2.0.3. However, when we upgraded to 24.2.0.3 version, we started observing lots of java.…

Therefore, we upgraded to the latest version 24.2.7.2 in our testing environment (in 24.2 release). However, we observed similar performance of ~60 secs in most of the cases.

Hence, we would like to know which is the latest stable version that can be used. Also, it will be really helpful if anyone can share any document generation response times with any latest stable version.
We are looking for any stable version with the similar response times as in version 6.2.8.0. Any pointers in this will be really helpful.

PS - We are using licensed Docmosis java version 4.7.5. But, we are open to upgrade it as well in case of any LibreOffice compatibility requirements.

The upgrade may have modified your configuration or user profile. Check if Paper tray from printer settings is ticked or unticked in Tools>Options, LO Writer>Print (assuming you are not under MacOS, in which case you must go through the Preferences menu).

When the box is ticked, LO queries the printer and this may take up to a time-out delay when the designated printer is not connected.
