Latest 64-bit version of LO, fully updated Win 11 Pro.

Win11’s Services.msc lists a LibreOffice Maintenance Service, which is not functional. The Registry entry points to a file “LibreOffice\program\update_service.exe” which does not exist.

Repair or uninstall/reinstall does not fix this.

I found out how:

Open a Command Prompt window (cmd.exe) with Administrator privileges.

Type “sc delete update_service.exe” (no quotes necessary)
