I just upgraded from 6.2.3 to 6.4.7.2 on Win 8.1 laptop but now LO hangs after opening the first window (w/o contents). I can start in safe mode and already tried resetting the user profile but to no avail. If I try to start e.g. calc directly, it hangs at the logo. I think, I saw a Windows Update (WUSA) as part of the upgrade?
No problem updating my Win7 desktop.
Any recommendations?

Try to set [Disable hardware acceleration (openGL,OpenCL) under [o] Configure in the dialog appearing when you initiate Safe Mode and assure to click button Apply Changes and Restart
