LibreOffice on GNOME sometimes copies a selected object as a pix map instead of the object

I have that problem in multiple libre office applications such as draw or impress.
I select an object like a painted circle or a slide and use the right-klick menu to copy it. As a reproducible effect
but not always instead on the object (circle or slide) the pix map (grafic) instead of the object is copied and inserted.

Try out Paste Special and define the format of the inserted object if Gnome or LO don’t work exactly.

Thanks for this answer. It addresses partial my problem. While it works for objects like circle it does not work while copy+paste slides.
